Why Google Chrome’s helper is hogging up CPU on your MAC

Recently while working on projects I noticed that my MacBook Pro was running a bit unusual. The fan kept hovering for lengthy periods of time and it was aggravating the crap out of me. At times it would hover for about 15 minutes non-stop causing the bottom to heat up. Something seemed out of whack so I started to investigate further. The universal search option is great and something that I absolutely love to use when searching for apps or really just about anything on my MacBook Pro. (more…)

Recently Twitter introduced pinnable tweets or also known as “pinned tweets”. The pinned tweets are free and currently available to select personal accounts. The Google Chrome finally puts a damp on flash ads

Flash ads? Never really liked them to begin with and quite frankly have been rather irrelevant for several years now. So irrelevant to the point that Google’s Chrome browser will now automatically pause flash ads. Yes, starting September 1, 2015 Chrome will by default halt any flash-based ad media. (more…)
