Today I got a chance to view one of the latest posts from David Siteman Garland who also runs and operates TheRiseToTheTop.com Actually to be quite honest it’s one of the main reasons that I decided to write this post before the end of the day was over.  How Important Is Your Website to Your Audience? – You tell me!  The Web 2.0 era and soon web 3.0 is only expanding and will get to a point where we won’t be able to live without it in day-to-day communication and operations.  There are many websites out there that are utilizing all marketing channels such as Facebook, Twitter, & LinkedIN and aren’t seeing results that they had expected.

“You can visit our website online.  It has lots of cool stuff on there and you can place your order directly on there.  You can also pay for your order online.” Does this sound familiar?  It’s one of the most common statements made by a business or an employee of one directed towards a consumer such as yourself.  In general nowadays if you walk into a retail store to make a purchase in some form or another you’ll find out about that particular business website.  Usually in response to a certain inquiry about a product or service that’s currently unavailable in-store (typical Wal Mart stuff j/k).  Now you’re all excited that you’ll get to do some comparison shopping before even pulling the trigger.

In this day and age it seems that a new blogs go up on daily basis. The demand for information from consumers has evolved drastically which has caused  everyone to establish themselves as an expert.  Well, I’m not going to quite argue that here but what I do want to share with you is how you can measure your own effectiveness by grading your own blog.
