Originally I was going to talk about something completely different on this episode and going down memory lane and then I realized that it would be a complete waste of my time and yours.

Your real strength is tested in times of despair. Not when things are going well but when shit hits the fan.

During this COVID-19 pandemic there is a lot of people out there who are claiming to be strong, powerful, authoritative. As if they’re completely invisible.

You know what though? Half of those people aren’t who they say they are. I’ve met a lot of them and most of those folks are completely full of shit. They’re pounding their hands against their chest like King Kong, not because they’re fierce but because they’re scared shitless.

True strength is tested in times of despair and when you have little to no options. This is when you are truly forced to think and act strategically. Think differently. Think creatively. Think like survival mode.

When COVID-19 hit, one side of me began to panic. Then, I realized that this wasn’t the first time I’ve been in a similar situation. In fact, I’ve been in worst financial situations then what COVID-19 has brought along thus far.

This is when I began to think differently. “What can I do to remain sane? What can I do to protect my family, my business, my relationships?”

It’s easy to say that you’re strong. Resilient. Powerful. Authoritative. This is what most people do.

It’s a completely different thing though to actually follow through on this and take action. This is where 99% of entrepreneurs fail. They intend on taking action, beating their hands against their chest but when push comes to shove they completely choke.
