Gobble, Gobble – Happy Thanksgiving!

The holidays are one of my most favorite times of the year.  I’d be lying if I said that they didn’t bring me pure joy and happiness regardless of the things happening in my Life.  Seems like this year’s Thanksgiving sneaked up on me on though.  Quite honestly it seemed liked yesterday was the beginning of 2011.  Now here we are with November nearly behind us and soon in a little over a month a new year will be upon us.  A lot of things have happened this year both in my personal and business lives.  It has been an eventful year to say the least really.  One that I haven’t seen with so many change-ups in some time.  Although as we near the closing of yet another year i’m quite thankful and appreciative of several things. SEO No Longer Optional, Now A Necessity

SEO St. LouisI’ve been in the SEO industry for about six years now.  That’s six years that I’m counting which includes professional experience and consultation that I have provided to others.  For as long as I can remember there was always an urge for search.  My fascination with the way people searched on the web had always been there.  It wasn’t until around 2005 though when I truly decided to pursue this passion professionally.  Search Engine Optimization impacts every brand on the web today.  Regardless of whether you’re a profit or non-profit organization that’s seeking to create more awareness about your products and services.  Visibility matters!  If you aren’t found, you’re losing on potential revenue.

Useful SEO On-Page Optimization Tips For Your Website

Your web presence serves as the virtual representation of your brand on the internet.  An image to your audience that identifies your business by outlining its products and services.  How much traffic is your web presence receiving though?  Do your website pages have proper on-page optimization elements embedded within to attract the right type of audience?  As I was starting out in the marketing industry many moons ago there’s one thing that stuck in my head.  “Why have a website if nobody can find it?”  Something that a former employer of mine kept repeating over and over like a broken record.  Sort of like an informal slogan for his company that never got a seal of approval.  Well, he’s quite right frankly.  You can’t profit from a web presence if nobody can find it in search engines when searching for product or services related to your industry.
